We will talk briefly and check in about what is happening at school this fall. Then we will break out into small groups to share ideas about what best practices will be for the start of the school year including questions like:
How do you adequately build community and culture when you aren't all together?
What tools and platforms are people using and liking?
How to promote student engagement online?
Communication - consistency? transparency?
Skill deficit
Are schools adjusting their curriculum to address the “skill deficit”?
how are we assessing that gap and how are we being used to address that?
What kinds of assessments are being used? If online, which ones? How?
How can we help you moving forward? What would you like to see from NEALS?
